3D scan of your own car
With a 3D scan of your own car, you capture not just photos but an interactive three-dimensional view. You make the scan with your phone, without a photo studio or special equipment. The recording takes about two to three minutes.

View your car from every side
A photo shows one image. With a 3D model you can move around the car yourself. You can rotate the model, zoom in and look at details from different directions.

How to make a scan with your phone
You do not need a complicated setup to make a scan. You use your phone's camera and record one continuous video.
The recording consists of two laps:
- a normal lap around the car;
- a lap at wheel height.
In total the recording takes about two to three minutes. Then you upload the video. CarTwin processes it into a 3D model.
The technique behind the reconstruction is called 3D Gaussian Splatting. You do not need to set anything up yourself: the process starts with an ordinary video recording on your phone.
Keep a digital moment of your car
A car can change over time. You may replace parts, sell the car or simply start driving a different one. A 3D model gives you a digital view of the car as it was at the moment of the scan.
You can view the model directly in the browser, without an app or plug-in. You can also share the model via a link or download it as a file.
